Connecting

 My first day at Prem began with a workshop with the highly inquisitive Grade 4 pupils, looking at how art and science may use similar processes to connect with and understand nature and our place within it.

Through a walking-drawing practice, children experienced and shared new ways of recording their discoveries.

Walking, gathering, sensing, noticing, folding, unfolding, mapping, rubbing...

An installation, placed in the gallery, became a first trace of their journey; a moveable feast that will evolve throughout the next two weeks.
